Each therapy session will give you the chance to explore what you need to become the most vibrant version of you. I’m here to support you in making the right choice and will share my intuition to offer a programme of treatments tailored to your unique health and lifestyle goals.

REFLEXOLOGY

Is a hands-on therapy that works on the reflex points in the feet corresponding with different organs and systems of the body using thumb and finger pressure. It is for anyone, at any age and is tailored to you and your specific needs. It can help the body restore its balance naturally and is an excellent way to mitigate the stresses of modern life. A session typically lasts an hour.

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE OR CHAMPISSAGE…

Is an ancient therapeutic treatment, practiced in India for thousands of years and works on acupressure points of the head, face, neck, shoulders and back. It is a deep massage, which uses a variety of techniques to tap into the 7 chakras or energy paths to encourage healing and balance in the body. It is practiced seated comfortably and clothed in a chair and typically lasts an hour.

RELAXATION MASSAGE…

Is a gentle Swedish whole body massage that employs smooth, gliding strokes to encourage total body and mind relaxation. It is a great TLC treatment and is pain-free to help relax tired muscles and an active mind. A session can last from 30 minutes to 90 minutes as you choose.

HOT STONE MASSAGE…

Is a speciality massage using heated, smooth volcanic stones as an extension of my hands in a full body massage which works on both the physical and psychological levels to loosen tight muscles and encourage deep relaxation. It is known to melt away tension, ease stiffness, increase circulation and metabolism and typically lasts 90 minutes.

REIKI…

Is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also encourages healing through “ki” or life force energy passing into the body to raise the vibration in and around the physical body clearing and strengthening the bodies’ healing pathways allowing health and flow. A session typically lasts an hour.

CHAKRA BALANCING…

Is the use of chakra healing stones combined with Reiki energy healing to restore balance to the bodies 7 major chakras or energy centers to improve the flow of energy and this, in turn, improves well being. A chakra can be blocked or overactive and can lead to physical and emotional symptoms in the physical body. A session typical lasts an hour and a dowsing crystal is used to establish the health of each chakra.

EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE OR TAPPING…

Is, in some ways, similar to acupuncture in that it achieves healing through stimulating the body’s meridians and energy flow. It is simple, painless and can be learned by anyone to release specific emotional blockages by using a tapping technique on specific points on the hand, face and torso after identifying the problem you want to focus on. Physical symptoms can cause emotional distress and unresolved emotional problems manifest themselves through physical symptoms. Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping) restores the body’s energy balance, and negative emotions are conquered. A session may last from 30 minutes to an hour and you will go home with a tapping routine to continue to work on yourself.

I am slowly feeling at home in Wiltshire & now that I have a new tribe of yogis @yogawolf_studio_marlborough, I can relax and enjoy the moments.

I’m enjoying teaching Slowww soulful yoga classes again and using all the great playlists I made when classes moved online.

I’m really grateful for all the new women in my life and all the opportunities I have to share what I love doing.

MEDITATION I often get compliments about how I s MEDITATION 

I often get compliments about how I smell…I know right?

Then when I’m asked and my response is “it’s a blend of essential oils called Meditation”, there is often a look of surprise on their face. 

I could heat the oil in a burner or use it in a diffuser too but as I love the smell of it & how calm it makes me feel, I just like to rub a little behind my ears & in my marvelously menopausal cleavage!!

I found myself avidly reading this book these last I found myself avidly reading this book these last 2 days.

I bought the book to help me both understand my relationship with the menopause & with helping other women navigate their own way through this rite of passage accompanied by yoga.

Only 2 years ago, I had no aches & pains & being hyper flexible, had no problems with most yoga asanas.

I now have arthritis in my hips and knees & sometimes the discomfort wakes me at night. It came from nowhere. Started slowly & crept up on me.

Sometimes my hip gives way as I’m walking & traps my sciatic nerve.

It really is a journey!

So how am I, aching, arthritic & menopausal going to help other women journey their menopause?

The thing is I know how it feels.

I know what they are also experiencing; from hot flashes, brain fog, weight gain, insomnia, emotional roller coasters, feelings of pointlessness & meaninglessness ( are they even words?)

So yes! I can share my knowledge, my understanding & my experience & by doing so, I can support them.

Germaine Greer wrote in her book The Change; Women, Aging and the Menopause “Menopause is a time for taking stock, of spiritual as well as physical change, and it would be a pity to be unconscious of it” 

I want to help women become conscious of menopause and actually live it well!
