Baby massage classes…..
Are a series of mum and baby classes in which massage techniques are learned by mum to help soothe, connect with and massage her baby from a few weeks old onwards. Research has proven that massage improves digestion and weight gain, increases bone density, reduces cortisol and improves cognitive and motor development. It is gentle and allows mum and baby to bond in a truly meaningful way. Typically a course of massage classes lasts 6 weeks at a session of an hour a week in a group setting. It is also a way to make new friends with other mums and share experiences, concerns and ideas in a supportive environment.
Natural birth preparation workshops…..
Are classes for an expecting couple to help them prepare for an active role in birthing their baby. It allows a couple to reconnect with ancient wisdom and learn skills together so they can be informed and prepared, confident and knowledgeable, about the process of birth. Areas covered include diet, prenatal exercise, the mechanics of birth, working with the natural birth hormones, writing a birth plan, preparing mentally and emotionally, understanding interventions, and handling pain. These workshops are typically for a small group of couples and can either take place over a day or in a number of weekly sessions of one hour.
Teenage girl empowerment workshops and gatherings….
Are themed workshops or open discussion groups for teenage girls to learn about, explore and discuss issues that are commonly experienced by teenage girls today. Mindfulness, self-massage, Emotional Freedom Technique, yoga, dealing with stress, body image, social media, pressure, self confidence, friendship issues, sexuality and women’s wisdom are amongst the themes of the available workshops and talks for small groups of similar aged girls.

Is a hands-on therapy that works on the reflex points in the feet corresponding with different organs and systems of the body using thumb and finger pressure. It is for anyone, at any age and is tailored to you and your specific needs. It can help the body restore its balance naturally and is an excellent way to mitigate the stresses of modern life. A session typically lasts an hour.
Indian head massage or champissage……
Is an ancient therapeutic treatment, practiced in India for thousands of years and works on acupressure points of the head, face, neck, shoulders and back. It is a deep massage, which uses a variety of techniques to tap into the 7 chakras or energy paths to encourage healing and balance in the body. It is practiced seated comfortably and clothed in a chair and typically lasts an hour.
Is a gentle Swedish whole body massage that employs smooth, gliding strokes to encourage total body and mind relaxation. It is a great TLC treatment and is pain-free to help relax tired muscles and an active mind. A session can last from 30 minutes to 90 minutes as you choose.
Hot stone massage……
Is a speciality massage using heated, smooth volcanic stones as an extension of my hands in a full body massage which works on both the physical and psychological levels to loosen tight muscles and encourage deep relaxation. It is known to melt away tension, ease stiffness, increase circulation and metabolism and typically lasts 90 minutes.
Is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also encourages healing through “ki” or life force energy passing into the body to raise the vibration in and around the physical body clearing and strengthening the bodies’ healing pathways allowing health and flow. A session typically lasts an hour.
Is the use of chakra healing stones combined with Reiki energy healing to restore balance to the bodies 7 major chakras or energy centers to improve the flow of energy and this, in turn, improves well being. A chakra can be blocked or overactive and can lead to physical and emotional symptoms in the physical body. A session typical lasts an hour and a dowsing crystal is used to establish the health of each chakra.
Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping)…….
Is, in some ways, similar to acupuncture in that it achieves healing through stimulating the body’s meridians and energy flow. It is simple, painless and can be learned by anyone to release specific emotional blockages by using a tapping technique on specific points on the hand, face and torso after identifying the problem you want to focus on. Physical symptoms can cause emotional distress and unresolved emotional problems manifest themselves through physical symptoms. Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping) restores the body’s energy balance, and negative emotions are conquered. A session may last from 30 minutes to an hour and you will go home with a tapping routine to continue to work on yourself.
